Registration had expired. The 2006 registration will expire on September 30, 2006. You
may re-register at the Minutes & Records Dept. on the 4th floor of the Administration
Building, Collier County Government Center. The cost remains $25. If you'd like, you
may also mail in your renewal to our department. Attached is a lobbyist registration form
for renewal, please make any changes or updates to your current registration. Please
make your check out to the Clerk of Courts. We will then send you a receipt via US mail.

NOTICE: LOBBYIST REGISTRATION
COLLIER COUNTY ETHICS ORDINANCE 2004-05
NOTICE OF RENEWAL:
Section 112.3148(2)(b), Florida Statutes, authorizes the Board to establish a
local registration process for lobbyists. The Board finds that such a registration process
serves to promote and protect governmental integrity as well as foster open government.
The Board further finds that such a public registration process for lobbyists may assist to
promote full compliance by lobbyists with the lobbyist gift reporting requirement set
forth in Section 112.3148, Florida Statutes.
Lobbying shall mean, for compensation; influencing or attempting to
influence legislative or quasi-judicial action or non-action through oral or written
communication or an attempt to obtain the good or the will of a member or
employee of the Board or of a Collier County advisory board or a quasi-judicial
board.
All lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities, register with the
Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department.
Every lobbyist required to so register shall: register on forms prepared by the
Clerk; pay an annual registration fee of$25, which is non-refundable; and state under
oath his or her nrone, business nrone and address, and the nrone and business address of
each person or entity that has employed said registrant to lobby, as the date of the
registration.
The registration fee required by this section shall be maintained by the Clerk to
the Board and shall be deposited into a separate fund to be expended for the purpose of
administering and mIDntaining the lobbyist registration list as well as to cover other
related costs.
Annual registration shall be required and shall occur on or after October 1,
of each year. The registration is valid for a period of time ending on September, 30
for the annual registration

which is on the 4th Floor in the Administration Building, Building F.
