That Subsec~ion Two (2) of Section One of Ordinance 75-6 is hereby · mended to read as follows: SECTION ONe: 2. Oovernini Board, Powers and Duties b. The Board shall appoint a committee of three (3) to five electors residing within the district to serve staggered terms of two (2) years each to hold meetings at such times and places as it shall determine for ~he purpose of advising Board regarding ~he affairs of the district. In instances where the Distrtc~ is providin{ · contractual service to the City of Everglades one (l) of the above members who lives out- side of ~he district and within ~he city limits of Everglades shall represen~ ~he City's in~erest in the a~fairs of the dis- trict. Such representative shall be named by the Mayor and approved by City Council of the City of Ever}lades and be con- firmed by ~he Board of County Con~iasioners~ as Iovernins body. d. Upon adoption of the distric~ budget by the Board it shall cause the budget ~o be recorded in the Bo·rd minutes and shall cause to be levied on all property within the district, a millage suffi¢ien~ to fund the budget not exceeding two mills in any one year to be assessed and collected aa though County taxes.
