AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1, SUBSECTION 3
AND SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 79-103 BY
PROVIDING THAT FUNDS MAY BE RAISED AND EXPEND-
ED FOR PRELIMINARY CONSULTING STUDIES AND TO
PREPARE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL ENGINEERING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A
SEWAGE COLLECTION SYSTEM WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES
OF SEWER AREA "B" SOUTH HALF (EAST NAPLES);
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Section A.
Section 1, Subsection 3 of Ordinance No. 79-103 is
hereby amended to read as follows:

Findings.
In order to be eligible for such grants as may be
or become available, it is necessary to prepare provide for
preliminary consulting studies and to prepare preliminary
and final engineering plans and specifications to pay the
cost of such plans and specifications from taxes collected
within the Unit which will benefit from such plans.
Section B.
Section 4 of Ordinance No. 79-103 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Purpose.

created for the purpose of providing a means to raise
funds necessary to pay for preliminary consulting studies
and preliminary and final engineering plans and
specifications for constructing a sewage collection system
within the bounda£ies of the Unit.
NOTE: Words underlined are added to existing Ordinance; words
s%~Hek-~h~eH~h are deletions from existing ordinances.
Section C. Conflict and Severability.
In the event this Ordinance conflicts with any other ordi-
nance of Collier County or other applicable law, the more re-
strictive shall apply. If any phrase or portion of this Ordi-
nance is held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of compe-
tent Jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate,
distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion.
Section D. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of notice
from the Secretary of State that this Ordinance has been filed
with the Secretary of State.
