AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE
NO. 82-65 AND RESOLUTION NO. CWS 82-7; PROVIDING
NEW WATER RATES TO BE CHARGED WITHIN THE COUNTY
WATER - SEWER DISTRICT! PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA AND RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, EX-OFFICIO TI{E GOVERNING

FLORIDA:
SECTION I
Ordinance No. 82-65 and Resolution No. CWS 82-7 are hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION FIVE: RATES
A. The rates for eervice shall be set forth herein. Said
rates are hereby found to be fair and equitable and may be
changed by ordinance amending the rate schedule.
B. Rates charged by the County Utility Division for water
furnished to customers within the County's service
area shall be as follow~:
1. Single-Family Residence:
First 3,000 gallons: 66?99 $7.94 per month.
For all water used in excess of that allowed within the
minimum charge, the rate shall be $½7½~ $1.32 per
1,000 gallons, or any part thereof.
2. Multi-Family Residence:
(a) Duplex Residence: First 6,000 gallona or any
r- part thereof $~8~ $15.88 per month. For all water
in excess of that allowed within the minimum charge,
the rate shall be 6½=~ $1.32 per 1,000 gallons, or
any part thereof.
(b) Multi-Family Rental Apartments: First 3,000
gallons or any part thereof $6~99 $7.94 per month per
apartment or dwelling unit. For all water used in
excess of that allowed within the minimum ~harg~the
rate shall be $~T½~ $1.32 per 1,000 gallons, or any
part thereof.
(c) Condominiums~ First 3,000 gallons or any
part thereof $6,99 $7.94 per month per apartment or
dwelling unit. For all water in excess of that allowed
within the minimum charge, the rate shall be &~v~
$1.32 per 1,000 gallons, or any part there of.
3. Business and Institutions: First 3,000 gallons
or any part thereof $6=99 $7.94 per month per equiv-
alent dwelling unit. For all water in excess of that
allowed within the minimum charge, the rate shall be
$}=½~ $1.32 per 1,000 gallons, or any part thereof.
SECTION II
Effective Date. This Ordinance and Resolution shall become
effective upon receipt of notice from the Secretary o~ State that
this Ordinance and Resolution has been filed with the Secretary
of State.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, at its regular meeting held on
2nd day of August , 1983.
