(c) Any requirement necessary for the safety, strength or
stability of an existing or proposed installation, or for the
safety of the occupants of a building or structure, not speci-
fically covered by this code, shall be determined by the Gas
Official.
I10 - PERMITS

(c) Emergency repairs may be made without a permit, but o
permit must be obtained as soon as business hours ~t the
Building Code Compliance Department re~ume.

114 - VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
Amend section to read a~ followm:
If any person, firm, corpor~tion, or other legal entity
whether p~blic or private, mhmll fail or refuse to obey or
comply with, or violate~, any of the provisions of this Ordinance,
· uch per~on, firm, corporation, or other legal entity whether
public or private, upon conviction of ~uch offense, ~hall be
punished by ~ fine not to exceed Five tlundred Doll~r~ ($500.00)
or by impri~onment not to ~xeeed ~ixty (60) day~ in the county
J~il, or both, in ;he di~cr~tion of ;h~ court. Each day of
continued violation or non-compliance shall be considered as n
separate offense. In addition, any person, firm, corporation,
or other legal entity whether public or private, convicted
under the provisions of this section shall pay all costa and
expenses involved in the case.
Nothing herein contained shall preven~ ~he County from
~nking such o~her la~ful ~c~ion ~n any cour~ of competent
~urisdtc~$on as ts necessary co preven~ or remedy any viola-
tion. Such other lawful action shall include, but shall not be
limited :o, an equitable action for injunctive relief and an
action at law for damages.
