AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 75-11,
SECTION Or~, SUBSECTION 3'C TO PROVIDE
FEES FOR INSPECTION OF CARNIVAL AND
CIRCUS RIDES BY THE COUNTY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
SECTION A:
Section One, Subsection 3-C of Ordinance 75-11
is amended as follows:
SUBSECTION 3: Application and Fee for Permit. A minimum of
twenty (20) days before occupying the carnival or exhibition
site an application f~r a pc~'-mit shall be submittcd to tha
County Manager in four (4) copies, accompanied by:
a. A surety bond in the penal sum of $2,500.00, insured by a
company authorized to issue such bonds in Florida, con-
ditioned upon the operator complying with each provision
of this Ordinance and subject to forfeiture under the
terms provided in Paragraph 8 hereinbelow.
b. Evidence of current public liabliity insurance coverage,
issued by a company authorized to do business in Florida,
in the minimum amount of $100,000 for any one person and
$300,000 for any one incident.
c. A non-refundable fee of $~0T00 $200 for the following:
1) Permit Processing
2) Fire and Safety Inspections~ and ~ ~
C]
3) Electrical and Structural Inspections .~ ~
SECTION B: This Ordinance shall become effective upon~rece~t [-~
of notice that it has been filed by the Secretary o~ Sta~ ~
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Collier County, Florida, this 22nd day of
