RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 207
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING BARBARA
SEGURA AND RICHARD SIMS TO THE GOLDEN GATE
BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-78 confirmed the creation of the Golden
Gate Beautification Advisory Committee which advises the Board of County Commissioners
(Board) on matters pertaining to the Golden Gate Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit
(MSTU).
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 87-78, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall consist of five members who represent the voting precincts within the MSTU;
and
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board previously provided public notice soliciting applications from
interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has provided the Board with its recommendations for
appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that BARBARA SEGURA,
representing Precinct 325, and RICHARD SIMS, representing Precinct 323, are hereby
reappointed to the Golden Gate Beautification Advisory Committee for four-year terms, said
terms to expire on October 6, 2014.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 12th
day of October, 2010.
