AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION THREE OF ORDINANCE
NO. 84-36 'BY PROVIDING AN EXEMPTION FROM SYSTEM
DEVELOPMENT CHARGES IN SERVICE AREAS 'C~ AND ~D'
OF THE COUNTY NATER-SEWER DISTRICT OF COLLIER
COUNTY~ FLORIDA, FOR GOLF COURSE REST STATIONS
IN LOCATIONS WHERE IT IS FINANCIALLY IMPRUDENT
TO CONNECT TO THE COUNTY WATER-SEWER SYSTEMI
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND SEVERABILITY~ AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, EX OFFICIO THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE
COUNTY WATER-SEWER DISTRICT OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDAs
Section Ones Amendment to Section Three of Ordinance No. 84-36
Section Three of Ordinance No. 84-36 is hereby amended to

SECTION THREE~ EXEMPTION FOR EMERGENCY BACKUP SYSTEMS AND
GOLF COURSE REST STATIONS
Backup systems mandated by state regulations and installed
to provide emergency water supplies for hospitals and nursing
homes and golf course rest stations shall be exempt ~rom the
charges set forth herein, if it can be shown that the installs-
tion of said emergency facility will not increase the demand on
the County's water system, or if it can be shown that the
location of the 9olf course rest station is such that it would be
financially imprudent to con~ect to the County's Water-Sewer
System. :.~
Section Twos Conflict and Severability.
In the event this Ordinance conflicts with
ordl~ce of ~llier County or other applicable law,~he

O~l~ce ~ held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of
d~m~n~t a~ ~dependen~ provision and such holding mhall not
affec2~e validity o~ the remaining ~rtion.
