RESOLUTION 07-_
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO SECTION 10.02.13.D.
OF THE COLLIER COUNTY LAND
DEVELOPMENT CODE, REQUESTING A TWO-
YEAR PUD EXTENSION FOR THE SIERRA
MEADOWS PUD (ORDINANCE NO. 99-91) WHICH
IS SCHEDULED TO SUNSET ON DECEMBER 14.
2007, EXTENDING THE CURRENT PUD
APPROV AL TO DECEMBER 14, 2009; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Sierra Meadows PUD, Ordinance No. 99-91 adopted on December
14, 1999, is subject to the provisions of Section 10.02.I3.D., of the Land Development Code
(LDC), Time limitsfr)Y approved PUDs; and
WHEREAS. the Sierra Meadows PUD was adopted consistent with and under the
provisions of the Collier County Growth Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 05-402, the Board of County Commissioners
extended the PUD approval affecting Ordinance No. 99-91 until December 14,2007; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the PUD and has
deterrnined it appropriate to approve a two-year PUD extension for the Sierra Meadows PUD
(Ordinance No. 99-91), which is scheduled to sunset on December 14, 2007, until
December 14,2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
I. The above recitals are adopted herein by reference as if fully set forth
herein.
2. This Resolution shall constitute evidence of compliance with the
review requirements of Section lO.02.13.D. of the LDC.
3. Pursuant to said section of the LDC, the current PUD approval is
hereby extended to December 14, 2009; at the end of which time the
owner shall submit to the procedures in LDC Section 10.02. I 3.D.
4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be rccorded in the minutes of this
Board and in the records of the Petition for which the extension is granted.
