9'gEREAS, on September 16, 1986, the Board of County C~issionera
directed staff to amend Ordinance 82-2, The Comprehensive Zoning
Resulationa for the Unincorporated Area of Collier County, to allow
social and fraternal organizations :2 a permitted provisional usa in
ihs A-2 Zontns District; a~d
WHEREAS, social and fraterual organizations ara similar in
intensity to permitted pro~isional uses in A-2 Zoning District$
NO~, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Co.missioners of
Colltsr Couuty, Florida:
Collier County Ordin~nce 82-2, Section 7.9, A-2 - Rural A~ricultural
District. shall be amended to add a new Subsection ?.9.b.3) (n), as
follows:
(a) Extraction and related processing and production.
(b) Earth mining and related processing.
(c) Churches and places of worship.
(d) Private landing strips for general aviation.
(e) Sawmills, provided that no sawmill shall be
located closer than 1,000 feeC from any County,
S~ata or Federal property or highway
right-of-way. '
(f) Cemeteries ....
(g) Sport race Cracks and arenas.
" (h) Zoo,. aquarium, aviary, botanical garden, or
ocher similar use.
(i) Com~unication towers, provided that no
co~.unicatton tower shall be located closer
than one-half (t) the height of ~ha cower plus
ten (I0) feet from any County, State or Federal
property or highway r~Eht-of-~ay.
(J) Public, private and parochial school or college
having a co~entional academic curriculum. (See
Ssction 8.11)
(k) ~uuting cabin, subject to all building codes
and permits.

SECTION TWO:
