CHAPTER 3 - GAS PIPING INSTALLATIONS
306.6 - PIPE COATING
Amend section to read as follows:
306.6 All underground piping and fittings shall be coated
or wrapped vith a corrosion resisting material.
309 - INSTALLATION OF PIPES

(a) All vertical piping shall be installed in an
area where the piping rill no£ be exposed to physical
damage from any source.
(b) All underground gas piping shall be buried in a
ditch rich a firm continuous bottom with said piping at a
m/nimum depth of 18" and covered in a manner an as to
protect the piping system from physical damage.
APPENDIX "l" - SUPPLEMENTAL ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS
A103.7 - FEES
Amend section to read as follows:
The Board of County Commissioners shall establish, by
Resolution, a schedule of fees and c~lrgcs for matters
pertaining to this Ordinance and associated matters.
is the intent of these regulations that the County shall
not be required to hear any par= of the cost of
applications made under this 0rdinanc~.
The schedule of fees aad charges shall be posted in
the office of the Building Code Compliance Department.
The schedule of fees and charges may be changed by
resolution of the Board of County Commissiomsrs and are
not subject to the procedure otherwise necessary for
amendment of this Ordinance.

AlO]l - VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
Amend section to read as follows:
If any person, firm, corporation, or other lesal entity,
whet:her public or private, shall fail or refuse to obey or
co~,ly with, or violates, any of the provisions of this
Ordinance, such person, firm, corporation, or other legal
ent:.ty, upon conviction of such offense, shall be punished by a
fin,, not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500 00) or by
imprisonment not to exceed sixty (60) days in the county Jail,
or both, in the discretion of the court. Each day of violation
or non-compliance shall be considered aa a separate offense.
In ttddition, any person, firm, corporation, or other legal
entity, whether public or private, convicted under the
pro~,lsiona of this section shall pay all costs and expenses
involved in the case.
Nothing herein contained shall prevent the County from
tak].ng such other lawful action in any court of competent
Jurisdiction as is necessary to prevent or remedy any viola-
tior~. Such other lawful action shall include, but shall not be
limited to, an equitable action for injunctive relief and an
action at law for damages.
SECTION THREE: REPEAL
Collier COunty Ordinance No. 83-9 is hereby repealed in ica entirety
as of ~he effective da~e of this ordinance.
SECTION FOUR: CONFLICT AND SEVERANCE
In the e~ent this ordinance conflicts wi~h any other ordinance of
Collier Count2 or o~her ~pplicable la~, the more restrictive shall apply.
If any phrase or portion of this ordinance ia held i~valid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent Jurisdiction, such portion shall be
deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision and such holding
shall not affect the validity of tbs remaining portion.
SECTION FIVE: EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordi~ance shall become effective upon receipt of notice from
the Secretary of State that this Ordinance has bean filed with the
Secretary of S~ate.
