'.BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOAKD OF COUNTY COMHISSIONZRS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA: Section One: Foxfire Units 1 & 3 Street Lighting Municipal Service Taxin~ Unit tree:edi Boundaries. Pursuant to Chapter 125 of the Florida Statutes, the Foxfire Units 1 & 3 Street Lighting Mm~icipal Service Taxing Unit is hereby created for the purpose of providing str,~et lighting to the residents of the taxing unit, the boundaries of which ars hereinafter described: All of Foxfire Unit I as recorded in Plat Book 13, Pal;es 84-86, inclusive, of' the public records of Collier County, Florida; all being a part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 6, Township 50 South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida, containing 77.13 acres more or less; All of Foxfire Unit 3 a:~ recorded in Plat Book 13, Pages 101-103, inclusive, of the public records of Collier County, Florida; containing 97.45 acres more or less. Section Two: Coverning Body. The governing body of the Unit shall be ex-officio the Board of County Co-~issioners of Collier County, Florida. Section Three: Pu___lrpose; Powers. The Unit is formed for the purpose of providing street lighting within the boundaries of the above-described subdivision(s) and to that end shall possess all tbs powezs to do all things reasonably necessary Co provide such serwtces, includin,~ ownership or rental of property, poles, w£res, conduits, lights, meters, and the power to maintain the same and to enter into contracts for providlnK the samc and the electric current to operate any lighting system therein installed. Section Four: Annual Estimates of Expense8~ Taxation Rate. For the purpc)se of card,yin§ into effect this Ordinance, the Board of County Commissioners shall annually, at the time required by general budgetary lay, ~a~e an itemized estimate of the amount of money required to carry ovt the business of the Unit for the nextfiscal year, which shall be from October I to and including September 30 folloving. The estimate shall have for what purpose the monies are required and the amount necessary to be raised by taxation vithin the Unit. At the time and place for fixing tha annual rata of taxation for county purpofes, the Bonrd shall fix and cause to be levia.~ on all property vithin the Unit subject to taxatinn a millage sufficient to meet the requirements of the estimate; provided, however~ the total ~illage shall not exceed the mtlla;~e authorized by lay for municipal service taxing or benefit units. Section ~ive: Tax ~ssessment And Collection. Taxes herein provided for shall be aase~sed and collected in the sams manner and form as provided for the assessment and collection of general county taxes and subJec: to the same ~eea for assessing and collecting aa general county taxes. Section Six: Construction. This 0rdinat.ce shall be liberally construed to effectuate its public purpose. Section Seven: Effective Date.
