ORDINANCE 87- 66 ~1~ 5ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 87-2, SECTION ONE AND~TWO WHICH DECLAILED A MORATORIUM ON ENFORCEMENT OF ILLEGAL PAP~(ING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT IN RMF-6, MMSD AND MMRP DISTRICTS IN IM/~OKALEE; BY EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM FROM AUGUST 1, 1987 to FEBRUARY 1, 1988, AND PROVIDING ;uN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners realizes that Immokalee is a unique community which has developed specific needs as a result of its being the hub of agricultural activity within the unincorporated area of Collier Coun:y; and WI{ERF_~S, ~he enforcement of current Zoning .regulations regarding the parking of commercial vehicles in residential districts causes undue hardship on many of the residents of Immokalee who are involved in the agricultural business; and WHEREAS, the Planning Department will begin the implementation of the Immokalee Master Plan in Feb~.e~y- the Fall of 1987; and WHEREAS, the first work task for the implementation of the Immokalee Master Plan is to resolve the conflict between the Job related needs of the residents and the regulations for the parking of commercial vehicles; and WHERF2%S, the Board of County Commissioners realize that this first work task scheduled to begin in Feb~.s~y the Fall of 1987 is not expected to be completed before A.g. se-~?-½9855 Februar~ I, 19881 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida: SECTION ONE: SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE NO. 87-2 IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: A moratorium is hereby declared until A-g-s~-~v-~gg~ Februar~ i, 1988, on the enforcement of Ordinance 82-2, the Comprehensive Zoning Regulations for the Unincorporated Area of Collier County, Section 8.51, Parking of Commercial Vehicles or Commercial Equipment in RMF-6, MMSD and MHRP Districts, in the Immokalee area as outlined in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by reference ~ncorporated herein. WORDS UNDERLINED ARE ADDITIONS; WORDS ~RWGK-~HROWG~ ARE DELETIONS SECTION TWO: SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NO. 87-2 IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: Ail violations shall be corrected and brought into conformance with any zoning standards established by the Board of County Commissioners after A~g~m~-~v-~98~ February 1, 1988. No non-conforming status or other vesting rights shall accrue to any individual based upon the zoning enforcement moratorium set forth above. SECTION TMREE: This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of notice that it has been filed with the Secretary of State.
