AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 75-16, WHIM
ESTABLISHED THE TIME, PLACE, AND CONDUCT O~
MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS~
SIONERS; BY AMENDING SECTION 1.1.C.2. TO
ALLOW THE AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETINGS TO BE
PREPARED AND DISTRIBUTED NOT LATER THAN
FIVE (5) DAYS PRECEDING THE MEETING; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on April 22, 1975, The Board of County Commis-
sioners enacted Ordinance 75-16, which established the time,
place, and conduct of meetings of the Board; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance requires that the County Manager
prepare and distribute the agenda for the regular meeting of
the Board not later than seven (7) days preceding the meeting;
and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the requirement to prepare
and distribute an agenda seven (7) days prior t° 'the me~ting is
impractical; and
WHEREAS, the Board further finds that five (5) calendar
days allows sufficient time for review of the agenda by the
Board and all other interested parties;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION ONE:
Ordinance Number 75-16, Section 1.1.C.2. shall be amended
as follows:

1.1.C.2. AGENDA:
The County anager',hA1 prepare each agenda in
appropriate form approved by the County Commis-
sion. Matters may be placed on the agenda by
the County Manager, any County Commissioner, the
Clerk, the County Attorney, and the Constitution-
al Officers. The agenda shall be prepaY'ed and
'distributed not later than eeven--~ five (5)
days preceding the regular meeting.

This ordinance shall become effective upon notice that it
has been received by the Office of the Secretary of State.
