WHEREAS, sludges and the improper management of sludgee~e~

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, has established that it is necessary in the
public interest to regulate the transportation and disposal of

County, Florida, has determined the amendment of Collier County
Ordinance No. 87-79 will enhance the administration of slt~ge

SECTION FIVE~ Conflict and Saverabllity.
In the event this Ordinance conflicts vith any other
ordinance of Collier County or other applicable lay, the smre
restrictive shall apply. If any phrase or portion of this
Ordinance is held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of
co.patent Jurisdiction, such portion shall be dee~ed a separate~
distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion.
SECTXOR SIXI Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of notice

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ANNUAL FEES RELATING
TO SLUDGE TRANSPORTATION LICENSES AND SLUDGE
DISPOSAL PERMITS~ PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 88-100 has been
adopted establishing a method for collection of fees for Bludge
Transportation Licenses and Sludge Disposal Permits~ and
~HEREAS, the Ordinance provides that the fees be establishe~
b~ =esolutionl and
NHEREAS, it Is deemed in the best interest of the County
that fees should be established for review and processing of
Sludge Transportation Licenses and Sludge Disposal Permits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNT~
COI~LISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA~ thatl
SECTION ONE - FEES,.
1. The ..~nnual fees for a sludge transportation license
shall be as follows~
a. The fee for the first vehicle licensed shall be
Twenty-five Dollars {$25.00) per year.
b. The fee for each additional vehicle licensed shall
be Ten Dollars ($10.00} per year.
c. Any vehicle included on a valid Septage Disposal
Service Permit issued by the Collier County Public
Health Unit shall be exempt from the fee requiremnt.
2. The annual fees for a sludge disposal Permit shall be
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per year.
3. The fees for any modification to a Percher shall be
Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per e~d£fication.
SECTION TWO - EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Resolution shall become effective upon the e£fective
date of Collier County Ordinance No. 88-100 ·
