RESOLUTION NO. 65- 180
A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 98.031.
FLORIDA STATUTES. ALTERING BOUNDARIES
IN PRECINCTS HITHIN THE COUNTY: PROVIDING
AN U' r t;CTlVE DATE AND DIRECTING THE
SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS TO RECORD THIS
RESOLUTION.
HHEREAS. Chapter 98.031. Florida Statutes (1964 Supp.).
authorizes the Board of County Commissioners. upon the
~ecommendation and approval of the Supervisor of Elections. to
alter the boundaries of existing election precincts and create n6~
precincts within the County: and
HHEREAS. such recommendation and approval has been given
by the SuperVisor of Elections, and
WHEREAS. Chapter 98.031. Florida Statutes (1984 Supp.l.
directs the Supervisor of Elections to make accurate descriptions
of any new or altered election precincts and to record such
changes in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court: and
HHEREAS. Chapter 98.031(3'. Florida Statutes (1984
Supp.,. provides that precinct boundaries are not to be changed
between January 1. 1987. and January 1. 1990. in preparation for
.the decennial census:
NOH. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County. Florida. that the follow1nq
alterations are made to the eXisting precincts to adjust
boundaries and to reflect City of Naples annexations. the leqal

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take
effect immediately upon recordation and that Supervisor of
Elections is directed to record this Resolution in the official
Records of Collier County. Florida. in the office of the Clerk to
the Circuit Court.
This Resolution adopted after motion. second. and roll call
