RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
ADMINISTRATOR, THE TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR, AND THE
ENGINEERING DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS FOR
JOINT USE POLES FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Co~issioners of Collier County has a need
~,. for Public Works activities throughout the County which requires the
installation of traffic signal systems; and
WHEREAS, Collier County desires to cooperate with Florida Power and Light
Company and Lee County Electric Cooperative Inc. in jointly using each others
utility poles when it is deemed mut;ually beneficial for both safety and
economy; and
WHEREAS, on July 27, 1982, the Bosrd of County Commissioners executed a
joint pole use agreement with Florida pawer & Light Company which sets forth
mutual provisions of joint pole use (copy attached); and
WHEREAS, in order to expedite processing, it is necessary to officially
designate and have of record County officials to execute the aforesaid
documents with Florida Power & Light Company and Lee County Electric
Cooperative Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that:
1. The Public Works Administrator, the Transportation Director, and the
Engineering Director are hereby appointed and authorized to execute
the documents aforesaid for and on behalf of Collier County.
2. Said officers shall execute the applications in the following manner:
