A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 9S.031,
FLORIDA STATUTES, ALTERING BOUNDARIES IN
PRECINCTS WITHIN THE COUNTY, CREATING
SEVEN NEW PRECINCTS, PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE AND DIRECTING THE SUPER-
VISOR OF ELECTIONS TO RECORD THIS RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, Chapter 98.031, Florida Statutes (1984 Supp.),
authorizes the Board of County Commissioners, upon the
recommendation and approval of the Supervisor of Elections, to
alter the boundaries of existing election precincts and create
new precincts within the County; and
WHEREAS, such recommendation and approval has been given by
the Supervisor of Elections; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 98.031, Florida Statutes (1984 Supp.)"
directs the Supervisor of Elections to make accurate descriptions
of any new or altered election precincts and to record such
changes in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuirt Court; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 98.031 (3), Florida Statutes (1984 Supp.),
provides that precinct boundaries not be changed between January
1, 1987 and January 1, 1990 in preparation for the decennial
census;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Collier County, Florida that the following
alterations are made to the existing precincts to create seven
(7) new precincts, the legal descriptions of which new and
altered precinct boundaries are attached hereto and incor-
porated by reference herein:

Road/Seagate Drive, thence west along the centerline of Seagate
Drive and continue extending along said westerly line projected to

Begin the precinct. a Ilouthwest corner at the' int.-;~~'t~ion of
Hinterberry Drive bridge with the Shenandoah Haterway and
Smokehouse Creek: thence west along the centerline of Winterberry
Drive to South Collier Boulevard and continue in a straight line
extension of the Hinterberry Drive centerline west of South
Collier Boulevard to its intersection with the Gulf of Mexico;
thence north along the Gulf of Mexico shoreline to that point of
intersection with the San Marco Road line extension through the
residents' beach (as recorded in O.R. Book 846, page 1447,)1
thence east along the San Marco Road's line extension through the
residents' beach to its intersection with South Collier Boulevard:
thence north along the centerline of Collier Boulevard to its
point of intersection with Smokehouse BaY/Castaways Waterway
bridge at its midpoint: thence south in a meandering line along
the Castaways Waterway centerline to its intersection with the lot
line common to Lots 27 and 28 of Block 248, Unit 6 of Marco Beach
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 6, pages 47-54 (ll30 and ll40
San Marco Drive respectively): continue south along said lot line
to its intersection with San Marco Road (C.R. 92)# continue south
across San Marco Road and along the east lot line of Lot 25, Block
