85-109
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS AU~HORIZING THE HOUSING
FINANCE AUTHORITY OF COLLIER COUNTY
TO ISSUE NOT EXCEEDING $9,750,000.00
MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUISITION AND
CONSTRUCTION OF A QUALIFYING MULTI-
FAMILY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County Florida that:
1. A public hearing was held on
May 7 , 1985 in accord-
ance with Section 103(k) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 as
amended. Public notice of said meeting was published in the
Naples Daily Ne; ;, a newspaper of general circulation published in
Collier County, Florida on April 1, 1985 and an affidavit of pub-
lication showing due ,publication of notice of the public hearing
was entered into the record at said public hearing.
2. The Board of County Commissioners has considered the
request of the Housing Finance Authority, of 20llier County
Florida for approval to issue not exceeding $9,750,000.00 Multi-
Family Housing Revenue Bonds for the purpose of the acquisition,
construction, and equipping of a qualifying mUlti-family housing
development consisting of approximately 288 units. The project
is to be owned and operated by Golden Gate Villas, Ltd., a
Florida limited partnership, and is to be located on approximately
18.05 acres in Collier County "Florida more particularly described
as:
Block 16, Golden Gate Unit 2, as recorded
in the Official Records of Collier County,
Florida in Plat Book 5 at pages 65 through
67.
3. The Board of County Commissioners hereby finds and deter-
mines that the acquisition and construction of the project is for
the public purposes enunciated in Florida Housing Finance Authority
Law and the project would advance the public interest in providing

affordable rental housing for citizens of Collier County. Ac-
cordingly, the Housing Finance Authority of Collier County is

hereby authorized to issue not exceeding $9,750,000.00 Multi-
Family Housing Revenue Bonds for the purpose of acquisition con-
struction and equipping of the project.
4. This Resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
