Resolution 2010-149 RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 149 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING DAVID BISHOF TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL AS A REGULAR MEMBER AND DECLARING A V ACANCY FOR AN AL TERNA TE MEMBER. WHEREAS, on May 26, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted Ordinance No. 2009-32, which relocated and readopted the Environmental Advisory Council Ordinance in its entirety as a stand-alone ordinance in the Collier County Code of Laws and Ordinances; and WHEREAS, the Environmental Advisory Council was established to advise the Board in matters dealing with the regulation, control, management, use, or exploitation of any or all natural resources of or within the County and to review and evaluate specific zoning and development petitions and their impact on those resources; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2009-32, as subsequently amended, provides that the Advisory Council shall consist of five regular members and one alternate member who possess technical expertise that will effectively accomplish the Advisory Council's purpose; and WHEREAS, there is currently one vacant, unexpired term on this Advisory Council; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that DAVID BISHOF, with expertise in biology/marine science, is hereby appointed to the Environmental Advisory Council as a regular member to fulfill the unexpired term, said term to expire on July 28,2013. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the alternate member seat previously occupied by David Bishof is hereby declared to be vacant.
