RESOLUTION NO. 92- 180
MARCH 24, 1992
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMEN'l' OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMEN'l' OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in ordinance 91-47, the direct costs ot
". aba~ ot certain nuisances, including pres=ibed administrative
$~ cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;

WHEREAS, the cost thereot to the County as to each parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Board ot County COIIllIlissioners, together
with a des=iption ot said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obliqation upon the property against which made until paid; and
WHEREAS, the assesaaent shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing ot Notice ot Assessment after which interest
abell accrue at a rate ot twelve percent (12.0\) per annum on any
unpaid portion thereot.
HOIf, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COIOaSSIONERS OF COLLIER O:>UNrlC, FLORIDA, that the property des=ibed

The Clerk ot the Board shall _il a notice of assesll1ll8nt of lien
to the owner or owners of the above des=ibed property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirty (30) days hereot, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be tiled in the ottice ot the
Clerk of Courts, in and tor Collier County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property according to law, unless such direction is
stayed by this Board upon appeal of the assessment ot the owner.
This Resolution adopted atter motion, second and majority vote.
