A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COtJHTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
SET'l'ING FORTH ITS IN'1'EH'l' '1'0 OSE THE
UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING THE
STORMWATER MAHAGEMEN'l' SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
FOR COLLECTION OF NON-AD VALOREM
ASSESSMENTS FOR THE UNINCORPORATED AREA
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of COUnty Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, adopted COllier County Ordinance No. 91-27 which provides
for the iapo.ition of .tor.vater aanag...nt utility fees and
special a.......nts against the benefited properties in the
unincorporated ar.a of Collier County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, provides a
unifora ..thod of coll.cting such a..e....nt. and .aid Section
requir.. that the Board ot County Commi..ioner. obtain the consent
of the PrOPerty Apprai.er and Tax Collector in order to adopt a
aotice of Intent re.olution at a public hearing af~er January 1
but prior to Karch 1 in order to allow such .pecial assessments to
be collected annually in the .... aanner a. provided for ad
valor.. taxe.; and
WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida statutes, also requires
that the Board of County Coaai..ion.r. publi.h notice of its
intent to u.e the uniform aethod for collecting suc~ assessments
Weekly in a new.paper of gen.ral circulation within each county
for tour consecutive week. prior to the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County CODIIIissioners on January 21,
1992 adopted Resolution No. 92-42 which established the public
bearing date to consider adopting a resolution of intent to elect
to use the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem assessments
tor the Stormwater Management in all of the unincorporated areas
of COlli.r County; and
WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing has been published in
accordance with Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLvED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COHKISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUN'i'Y, FLORIDA, that:

1. Commencing with the 1992-1993 Fi.cal Year and with the
tax .tateunta mailed tor such Fiscal Year, the County intends to
use the unitorm .ethod a. authorizec.t in Section 197.3632, Florida
statute., a. amended, tor cOllecting non-ad valorem assessments
leviec.t within the unincorporatec.t area ot Collier County for the
provi.ion of .tonavater manag...nt. The legal description ot the
unincorporated area of Collier County consist. of all of Collier
CoUnty, Ie.. the incorporated area. known a. the City of Naples
and Ev.rglad.. City.
2. Th. County hereby d.teraines that the levy of such
special a.......nt. i. appropriate and necessary to fund the costs
ot providing tor the acqui.ition, con.truction, maintenance and
iaproveaent ot .tor.vater management .tructures and to provide for
.torJIvater management and r.lated .ervice. as described in Collier
County Ordinance Ro. 91-27.
3. Upon adoption, the Clerk to the Board shall send a
certitied copy ot this Re.olution by U. S. ail to the Florida
Departaent of Revenue, the Collier County Tax Collector and the
Collier County Property Apprai..r on or batore Karch 10, 1992.
