FROM 'l'RE COASTAL CONS'1'Rt1CTION SETBACK
LINE (CCSL) '1'0 ALLOW THE RE'l'AINMENT OF AN
EXISTING CUL-DE-SAC, GATE AND CONCRETE
POSTS; TO CONSTRUCT MINOR STRUCTURES; AND

WHEREAS, Jerry Naal, Office of capital Projects of Collier
, representing the Board of'County Comaissioner. of Collier
Florida requests a variance frOll the Coastal Construction
Line (CCSL), as required by Collier County Ordinance No.
Division 3.13, to allow the retai~nt of an existing
qate and concrete posta; to allow the construction of
a dune walkover structure, a
a fence, an outdoor shower tacility, benChes, bicycle

ricks, and a tlagpole; and to re-vegetate the dune system and add

WHEREAS, structures which extend no further seaward than the
line established. by adjacent permitted structures are
."allowed by Ordinance No. 91-102, Division 3.13; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 168-33.005 and 16B-33.007
the Florida Administrative Code, re-vegetation and enhancement
ot daaaged or eroded dune systems is encouraged.

buildinq perait and an associated state of Florida Department
of Natural Resources perait have been obtained. The
re-veqetation and additional landscaping shall be completed at
the time of iSlNance ot a certificate of Occupancy.
3. All heavy equipment OPeration. and vehicle operation seaward
ot the Coastal COnstructioil Setback Line .hall be restricted
to the Sea Turtle non-nest1nq .eason (November 1 through April
30), unle.s a Construction in a Sea Turtle Nestinq Area Permit
is obtainacS troa the Florida Departaent ot Natural Resources
and COllier County.

enbancaent of the dune say.t.., petitioner sball apply for a
Certificate of Exaption for the Operation ot Vehicles on
Collier County Beach.., Rbject to the review and approval by
