A RESOLUTION 01' THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AN ANTI-DISPLACEMENT AND
RELOCATION PLAN TO BE USED IN CONNECTION
WITH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAMS .
WHEREAS, Collier County intends to apply to the Florida
~nt ot C~nity Atfair. for Co.aunity Development Block
Gran~ to help ..et the co.aunity development needs of Collier
COUnty, and
WHEREAS, the Congre.. of the United Stat.s has adopted the
Unilora aelocation "'sistance and Real PrOPerty Acquisition
Polici.. Act of 1979, and aaended the Act to discouraqe
4isplaceaent ot fa.ili.s and regulate the conditions under
vbich relocation as.istance vill be ude; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Depart..nt of Co.aunity Aftairs
requires that all local qovern.ents that apply for Community
o.velopaent Bloct Grants have adopted an Anti-Di.placement and
Relocation Policy in contoraance vith the Unitorm Relocation
Assi.tance and Real Property Acqui.ition Policies Act ot 1979,
as aaended, 49 CPR Part 24, and 24 CPR Chapter 570.606; and
WHEREAS, the County statt has developed an Anti-Displace-
aent and Relocation Policy that contoraa to the State and
Federal requireaent..
ROW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COIDIISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Community
oevelopaent Bloct Grant Anti-Displacement and Relocation Plan
tor Collier County, Florida, a. developed by County statt to
confora to State and Federal requirements, be adopted for
application to any relocation or displacement that takes place
as . r.sult of any activity that i. funded in whole or in part
by · Coaaunity Development Block Grant.
