WHEREAS, the BOa~d ot coUnty Comd..ioners ot Coll ier County,
Florida, receive. "t~nd. tIonth1y trOll the Florida Departaent ot
Revenue tor County Ga. Tax (7th cent), Touri.t Developwaent Tax,
Local Option 6 Cent Ga. Tax, State Revenue Sharing, Voted Gas Tax
1 Cent (9th Cent), Local Option 5 Cent Ga. Tax and Local
Covernaent 1/2 Cent Sale. Tax; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Departaent ot Revenue has the capability
to wire the.. tunds to the County'. bank tor a tee ot Ten Dollars
($10) per wire; and
WHEREAS, the County could earn aore money in accrued interest
by having the tunds wired to the County tor ill1llediate credit at
the County's bank rather than having the checks go through the
State'. internal mail system, the U.S. Postal sy.te. and then the
County's mail syste. betore depo.it at the County's bank; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Depart.ent ot Revenue has adopted rules
concerning the wire deposit ot certain tunds; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest ot Collier County to
receive the tunds de.cribed above by wire transter;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board ot County
Commissioners ot Collier County, Florida, that:
1. 'nle Board ot coaai..ioner. hereby approve. the tran.ter
by wire ot the tollowinq funds (the "County Fund.") trom the
