RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -118
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING DA VID
CORREA AND ZETTY YETNY RIVERA TO THE COLLIER
COUNTY HISPANIC AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-37 established the Hispanic Affairs Advisory
Board to provide pcriodic reports to the Board of County Commissioners that identify and
evaluate problems uniquc to the Hispanic community and to recommend ways to ensure open
communication between minorities and Collier County Government; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-37, as amended, provides that the Advisory Board shall
consist of nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, on June 25, 20 I 0, there will be two vacancies on this Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that DAVID CORREA AND
ZETTY YETNY RIVERA are hereby reappointed to the Collier County Hispanic Affairs
Advisory Board to scrve four-year terms, said tcrms to expire on June 25, 2014.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 8th day
of June, 2010.
