WHEREAS, on January 5, 1982 the Board of County '..,,.~ approved Ordinance Number 82-2, which ' the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for ~inC°rporated Collier County, Florida; and . WI{EREAS, on June 24, 1988, the Governor of the State of a~,proved the Solid Waste Management Act, Chapter 0, Florida Statues, which establishes strict goals reduction of County municipal solid waste, 'and further :requires county's to establish recycling and resource 'ecovery programs and facility toward the achievement of the .pal solid waste reduction goals; and i:?i.?~'WHEREAs, Bob Fahey, Director of Solid Waste Management .C~11ier County, petitioned the Board of County iCommissioners of Collier County, Florida, to amend Section :O, Definition of Ordinance Number 82-2 by deleting the of "Recycling Center" and adding definitions of "Resource Recovery Facility", "Transfer Station and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of %ty Commissioners of Collier County, Florida: ONE: Amendments to Section 20, Definitions, of Ordinance 82-2, as amended.
