WHERF2~, the Board of County C~gL~sioners on October 25, 1977,
adcgted Collier County Ordinance No. 77-52, creating the Im~okalee
Lighting and Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit for the
purpoee of providing street lighting and beautification within the
Unit; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County C~Lu~gLssic~ers, on September 23, 1986,
?. adc~c.~d Collier Co~%ty Ordinancu No. 86-65, creati~ the
Lighting and Beautification District A~visory Cc~mi~, providing for
functions, pcb_rs and duties of the Crm~ttee; and
WHERF~%S, since the adoption of Collier County ~ No. 77-52
and Collier C~unty ~ No. 86-65, the Immokalee Lightir~3 and
Beautification Advisory Cc~ittee has expressed concern that the
Ordinances were unclear kY to the purpose and the location for street
~': lig~t/zg ~ beautification; and
