RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 77
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING MARCIA E.
BREITHAUPT AND APPOINTING DANIEL P. MARTIN TO THE
ANIMAL SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-06 established the Animal Services
Advisory Board to generate community involvement in order to aid the Collier County Domestic
Animal Services Department; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004-06 provides that this Advisory Board shall consist of
seven members who, when possible, represent areas of expertise as set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacancies on this Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Animal Services Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the appointments to the Animal
Services Advisory Board are as follows:
1. MARCIA E. BREITHAUPT, representing the pet retail, boarding or grooming industry, is
hereby reappointed for a four-year term, said term to expire on April 13, 2014.
2. DANIEL P. MARTIN, in the category of citizen at large, is hereby appointed for a four-
year term, said term to expire on April 13, 2014.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 13th
day of April, 2010.
