Ordinance 93-46 ORDINANCE NO. 93-46 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 85-32 RELATING TO COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 81-94 ~EATING THE PINE RIDGE INDUSTRIAL PARK MUNICIPAL .... ~8~VICE TAXING AND BENEFIT UNIT, BY AMENDING SECTION ~ 6 $~ARAGRAPH (11) (a), REDUCING THE ASSESSMENT '7.~ PREPayMENT PERIOD WITHOUT INTEREST FROM WITHIN 60 ~DAYSL~ TO WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER ASSESSMENT TION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND SEVERAB~ ncc No. 81-94 on December 21, 1981, creat~g th~ Pi~e Ridge Industrial Park Municipal Service Taxing and ~nefi~ Unit and on June 18, 1985, adopted Collier County Ordinance No. 85-32, relating to and supplementing Collier County Ordinance No. 81-94; and the Board has determined that it is appropriate W~EREAS, to reduce the time frame within which the confirmed assessments on lots or parcels assessed in said Unit may be prepaid in full without interest from within 60 days to within 30 days after confirmation thereof. NOW, T~EREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONEI~S OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: SECTION ONE. AMENDMENT TO SECTION 6, PARAGRAPH (11)(a) OF COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO SECTION 6. (11)(a) Any assessment may be paid at %he office of the Clerk within 64) 30 days after the confirmation thereof, ~ithout interest. Thereafter all assessments shall be payable in equal installments, with interest at not exceeding the maximum amount permitted by law, or, if bonds, are issued pursuant to'this ordinance, at a rate. not to exceed one percent above the rate of interest at which Such bonds are sold, from the expiration of said 69 30' days in each of the succeeding n~mber of years which the Board shall determine by resolution, not exceeding 40; provided however, that the Board may provide that any assessment may be paid at any time before due, together with interest accrued thereon to the date of payment, if such prior payment shall be permitted by the proceedings authorizing any assessment bonds or othe'r obligations for the payment of which such special assessments have been pledged. · BECTTON TWO.
