RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 32
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING BRADLEY A.
BOAZ AND JOSEPH B. SW AJA TO THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT
PRODUCTIVITY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on June 26, 200 I, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted
Ordinance No. 2001-37, repealing prior ordinances and creating the County Government
Productivity Committee to review the efficiency of County government departments under
the Board's jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2001-37, as subsequently amended, provides that the
Productivity Committee shall consist of eleven (II) members who possess special expertise
and experience related to managing large organizations and represent the community's
diverse viewpoints and background; and
WHEREAS, there is one vacant, expired term and one vacant, unexpired term on the
Productivity Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the County Government Productivity Committee has provided the Board
of County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the appointments to the
County Government Productivity Committee are as follows:
1. JOSEPH B. SW AJA, with expertise in strategic planning, productivity
programs and management, is hereby appointed for a two-year term, said term to
expire on February 4, 2012.
2. BRADLEY A. BOAZ, with expertise In financial operations, information
technology and accounting, is hereby reappointed to fultill the unexpired term, said
term to expire on February 4,2011.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the
9th day of February, 2010.
