Ordinance 93-15 ORDINANCE NO. 93-1~ ~d~ ORDINANCE AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE ~IO. 86-39 ESTABLISHING TIiE PUBLIC VEHICLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PVAC) ~ AMENDING SECTION ONE, PROVIDING FOR CREATION OF THE PVAC; AMENDING SECTION TWO, PROVIDING FOR COMPOSITION; AMENDING SECTION FOUR, PROVIDING FOR RENOVAL FROM OFFICE AND FAILURE TO MEETINGS; AMENDING SECTION SEVEN, PROVIDING FUNCTIONS, POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE PVAC ~ FOR CONFLICT AND SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER FLORIDA: 'Section One: Section One of Collier counter Ordinance No. is hereb~ amended to read as goilowsx SECTION ONE: CREATION OF THE PUBLIC VEHICLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE. There is hereby created pursuant to County Ordinance No. ~ I,.91-93 the Public Vehicle Advisor~ Committee, hereinafter referred u,:¢iU. to as the .]- Section Twox Section Two of Collier Count3[ Ordinance 91-93 is hereb= amended to read as follcwsx SECTION TWO= Composition of the PVAC. The PVAC shall consist of five (5) members~ Three (3) members shall be holders of certificates of public convenience and necessit~ to operate a motor vehicle for hire business end two (2) members shall be persons who are in no way affiliated or associated with any holder of a certificate of public convenience and necessity. Members of the PVAC shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Public. Vehicle Board. Said members ,'shall be permanent residents and electors of Collier Count~. Appointment of members to the PVAC shall be by resolution of the Public Vehicle Board, which resolution shall set forth the date of appointment and term of office.
