RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - 06
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING LARRY
WILCOXSON TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted
Ordinance No.9 I -65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall be composed of eleven (I I) voting members and one (I) alternate member
appointed by the Board and the Naples City Council based on residency and professional
experience related to affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacant, unexpired term on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee has provided to the Board of
County Commissioners its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that LARRY WILCOXSON,
representing the category of Advocate for Low Income Persons in Connection with Affordable
Housing - residing in Immokalee, is hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory
Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on October I, 201 I.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 12th
day of January, 2010.
