RESOLUTION NO. 2009 - 304
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING JAMES
E.BOUGHTON AND APPOINTING DAVID HURST, RAY ALLAIN, AND
HENRY REAGAN TO THE COLLIER COUNTY DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93-76, as amended, established the Collier County
Development Services Advisory Committee to serve as a primary communication link between
the Community Services Division, the development industry and the Citizens of Collier County;
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93-76, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee
shall consist of fifteen (15) members who represent the various aspects of the development
industry and, when possible, shall include one or more members from specified classifications;
and
WHEREAS, there are currently four vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Development Services Advisory Committee has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the appointments to the Collier
County Development Services Advisory Committee are as follows:
I. JAMES E. BOUGHTON is hereby reappointed in the category of Architect for a four-
year term, said term to expire December 14, 2013.
2. DAVID HURST is hereby appointed in the category of Civil Engineer for a four-year
term, said term to expire December] 4, 2013.
3. RA Y ALLAIN is hereby appointed in the category of General Contractor to fulfill the
reminder of an unexpired term, said term to expire December 14, 20 II.
4. HENR Y REAGAN is hereby appointed in the category of Structural Engineer to fulfill
the remainder of an unexpired term, said term to expire December 14, 20 II.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 15th
day of December, 2009.
