WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 76-72, as amended,
which created the District 3 Municipal Services Taxin$ Unit; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE rr ORDAINED BY THS BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY. FLORIDA that:
SECTION ONE: AMENDMENTS TO SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE NO. 75-7l, AS AMENDED.

to accomplish such, and the wont "ordinance" may be changed to "section," "article," or any other
appropriate word.

~1~: CONFLICT AND SEVERABILITY
In the event this Ordinance conflicts with any other Ordinance of Collier County or other
applicable law, the more restrictive shall apply. If any phrase er portion of the Ordinance is held invalid
o~ unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such person shall be deemed · sepzrate,
distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion.
~;~.~: EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall become eiTectiv~ October 1, 1998, and the Clerk is instructed to file this
Ordinance with the Department of State within I0 days at~er its adoption.
