WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 8|-35, which created the
Marco Island Beauti~cation Municipal Service Taxing Unit; and
WHEREAS, the City of Marco Island was created on August 28, |997; and
WHEREAS, on March 30, 1998, the City of Marco Island terminated the Marco Island Buutificatlon
Municipa| Service Taxing Unit by City Re:so|ution No.
NOW, THEKEFOP,.E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD O1~ COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
5EC]IQ. hL.O.H~: REPEAL OF COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. g!-35.
Collier County Ordinance No. 81-~5 is hereby repea|ed in its entirety.
~: INCLUSION IN THE CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCE
The provision:8 of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of Law:8 and Ordinancel
of Collier County, Florida. The sections of the Ordinance may be rcnumbered er re-lettered to accomplish
such, and the word 'ordinance~ may be changed to 'section", 'article', or any other appropriate word.

In the event thi:8 Ordinance conflicts with any other Ordinance of Collier County or other applicab|e
law, the more restrictive shall apply. If any phra:se or portion of the Ordinance i:8 held invalid or
unconstitut{onal by any court of competent jurisdiction, :such portion shall be deemed a separate, di:st~nct and
independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion.

Thi~ Ordinance shall be effective upon filing with the Florida Department of State.
