RESOLUTION NO. 95-664
A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS DECLARING APPROXIMATELY 280
ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE
EXISTING COUNTY LANDFILL AS SURPLUS
PROPERTY AND DIRECTING STAFF TO ADVERTISE
PROPERTY FOR SALE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
PUBLIC GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, the County owns approximately 280 acres ot real
property at the northeast corner ot C.R. 951 and 1-75
intersection ~hich is adjacent to the existinq County Landtill
(hereinatter reterred to as the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Collier C::)unty Go1t Author-ity, Inc., a
not-tor-profit corporation, hiS approached the Cc:unty reqardinq
the purchase and development of the Property as a public qolt
course; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County commissioners has determined
that the Property is surplus property since it is not needed
for County purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED BY THE &,,}ARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUN,Y, FLORIDA, that:
