RESOLUTION NO. 95-587
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING RICH NELSON AND EDWARD
J. OATES, JR., AND REAPPOINTING MICHAEL A.
DAVIS TO THE COLLIER COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS,
the Collier county Planning Commission was
established by Collier County Ordinance No. 85-51, as amended by
Collier County Ordinance No. 86-76; and
WHEREAS, ':ollier County Ordinance No. 91-102, as amended,
repealed and replaced Ordinance No.
85-51,
as amended,
re-establishing the Collier county Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-102, as amended, provides that the
Collier County Planning Commis ';ion shall be comp',sed of nine (9)
members representing the five ( ommission districtf.; and
WHEREAS, the terms of three (3) member:"s expired for
Commission Dist.rict Nos. 1, 3 h,d 4; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously
provided public notice soliciting applications from interested
parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT tESOLVED BY THE r~oARO OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNT , FLORIDA, that:
1. Rich Nelson, represe lting Commission District NO.1, is
hereby appointed to the Collier County Planning Commission for a
four year term, said term expiring on October 1, 1~99.
2. Edward J. Oates, Jr., representing commission District
No.4, is her.eby appointed to the Collier :ounty Planning
Commission for a four year tet -, said term expiri'lg on October 1,
1999.
3. Michael A. Davis, representing Commissj.on District No.
3, is hereby re,'ppointed to the Collier County Pla':ming Commission
for a four year term, said ter~ expiring on October 1, 1999.
