RESOLUTION NO. 95- 564
A RESOL:nION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVIDI~G FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR THE COST OF
THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs of
abatement of certa :.n nuisances I in(~luding prescribed administrative
cost incurred by tile County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof to 'he County as to eaf h parcel shall be
calculated and reported to the Boa:d of County Commis;ioners, together
with a description of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, such assessment shall be a legal, valid and binding
obligation upon the property against which made until paid; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after ."hich interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0%) per ,mnum on any
'mpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE _ BY THE BOARD OF C':,UNTY
::OMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY I F - ORIDA, that the pr'->perty described
as follows, and having been abated of a public nuisan.;e after due and
proper notice thereof to the owner of said property, is hereby assessed

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the above described property, and if such

certified copy of tuis Resolution shall be filed in tbe Office of the
Clerk of Courts, in and for Colliej. County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such p::operty accordL1g to law, unless such direction is
.Jtayed by this Board upon appeal or the assessment of the owner.
