AMENDING SECTIONS 5 AND 16 OP ER 88-499, LAWS
OF FLORIDA, TO REQUIRE THE AWLETTING OR
ENTERING INTO CONTRACTS BY THE: '. . LLIER COUNTY
WATER-SEWER DISTRICT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
COLLIER COUNTY PURCHASING ORDINlICE, COLLIER
COUNTY PURCHASING POLICY, NO'l'WITltSTANDING ANYTHING
TO THE CONTRARY IN CHAPTER 153,.jART II, FLORIDA
STATUTES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
as the Govern~ng Board of the Collier County Water-Sewer District
deems it appr(~riate to amend Sections 5 and 16 of Chapter 88-499,
Laws of Florida, to require the award, letting or entering into
contracts by J',he Collier County Water-Sewer District in accordance
with the Collier County Purch"sing Ordinance, Co: lier County
Purchasing POlicy, notwithsta' ding anything to tJ.e contrary in
Chapter 153, Part II, Florida Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE.'~OLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS EX-OFFICIO THE
GOVERNING BOARD OF THE COLLIER COUNTY WATER-SEWE'l DISTRICT, that:
1) The proposed Special Act attached heret~ as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein is he eby approved.
2) The Staff is hereby irected to send the attached
proposed Speci:!l Act to the L-gislative Delegation for
consideration during the 1996 LegiSlative Session.
