RESOLUTION NO. 95- 492
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMM.tSSIONERS
PROVI:>ING FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN, FOR nr.t: COST OF
THE 1\BATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the d~rect costs of
abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred b) the County, shatl be assessed agai~st such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof t ) the County as to !ach parcel shall be
calculated and 1 ~pcrted to the E )ard of County Comm.ssioners, together
with a descript50n of said parce~; and
WHEREAS, s~ch assessment sh 111 be a legal, val.d and binding
obligation upon the property aga~nst which made unt.l paid; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shall become due and payable thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0%) pe.':' annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW/ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOl cD BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the ~.roperty described

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice of assessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the above described prope)ty, and if such
owner fails to par such assessment within thirty (3f) days hereof, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the
Clerk of Courts, .n and for Coll:' er County, Florida, to constitute a
lien against such property accor.iing to law, unless such direction is
stayed by this Board upon appeal of the assessment of the owner.
