RESOLUTION NO. 95-~
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MILLAGE RATES TO BE LEVIED
FOR FY 1995-96
WHEREAS, Section 200.65, Florida Statute., provide. the procedure for fixing
the millage rates, and
WHEREAS, Sec~ion 129.03, Florida statutes, .ets forth the procedure for
preparation and atoption of the budget, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioner. has received and examined the
tentative budget. for each of the County's funds, and
WHEREAS, thn Board of County Commissioners has prepared a statement
summarizing all ',f the adopted tentative budgets which includes for each budget,
the proposed tax millages, the balances, the reserves and the total of each major
classification ot receipts and expen~litures, and
WHEREAS, on July 25, 1995, ':he Board of County Commissioners adopted
Resolution No. ~S-434 approving thl County's proposed mi: lage rates and setting
public hearings ('or adoption of the final millage rate.; al;d
WHEREAS, pur,luant to Section 21 <3.065, Florida Statute'l, an advertised public
hearing was held on September 6, 19J5, at 5:05 p.m. and R~solution No. 95-489 was
adopted by the Board of County Commissioner. adopting the tentative millage rates
and Resolution 95-490 was adopted by the Board of Count" Commissioners adopting
the tentative budgets for FY 1995-96, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section ..)0.065, Florida Statut"s, a second aclvertisecl
public hearing was held on Septem ,ar 20, 1995 at 5:05 :'.m. to finalize the FY
1995-96 Budget and adopt the .:illage rate. in ac;ordance with Sections
129.03(3)(c) and ~00.065(2)(d), Fle ida Statute..
NOW, THEPEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The millage rates as set forth in Exhibit "AI. attached hereto and
incorporated herein, are hereby adopted as the millag. rates for FY 1995-96,
pursuant to Section. 129.03 and 20r,065, Florida Statutes.
