COHMISSIONlRS CERTIFYING THATTHB APPLICATION
FOR AND USB 07 EKS TRUST rUNt) MONIES WILL
IMPROVB AND BXPAND PRI-HOSPITAL EMS ACTIVITIES
AND SERVICES AND WILL NOT SUPPLANT EXISTING
BUDGET ALLOCATIONS :
WHEI'BAS, Paramedics provide basic and adVanced life
support care, a unique and highly technical service to the
citizens and visitors of Collier County; anc
WHEREAS, the purcha'8 ot equipmentishaJl greatly enhance
the effe~tiveness of pre- hospital emergency medical care.
NO., THEREFORE, BB TT RESOLVED BY THE I;OARD OP COUNTY

COHMISSIONERS that the $i9,237.07 in the EMS Trust Fund will be
used to purchase equipment and these monies will not be used to
supplant existing EMS Department bUdget allucations.
