'~' ,\, I.;?;~ .~~ I'!'~ 'W i*l ;.,: ii! cl, '~.~ !'~ Housing Initiatives Partnersh :) [SHIP] Program:or waivers of Collier County impact fees; an, WHEREAS, Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is seeking a waiver of impact fees; and WHEREAS, Inmokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. will construct one (1) three-bedroom unit (.:he "Dwelling Unit") on Lot 3, Highlands Habitat Subdivision, Immokalee which j s proposed to sell for Forty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollarr- ($'46,500.00) ; and ~~ WHEREAS, tJ a Dwelling Unit will be purchased by a very low income householcl which is req.,.ired to invest a ml.nimum of five .--. n(ln~'N (l.4t') hundred (500) hours of "Sweat Equity" before it obtains title to the house; and WHEREAS, Hr. Charles C. Smith, Vice President of Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc., submitted to the Office of Housing and Urban Impr.ovement an Affordable Housing Application dated August 23, 199,'; for a waiver of impact fees for the construction of a house on Lot: 3, Highlands Habitat SUbdivision, Immokalee, a copy of said ,lpplication is on file in the Housing and Urban Improvement Department; and WHEREAS, in accordance \:ith Section 3.04 of the Library System Impact Fee Ordinance, Ordinance No. 8 8-~ 7, as amended; Section 4.05 o~ the Parks and ~ecreational Facilities Impact Fee ,; ,1 ~. ~ , Ordinance, Ordinance No. 88-9~, as amended; Sect ..on 3.04 of the Road Impact Fee ordinance, 0rdinance No. 92-22, as amended; Section 3.05 of the Emergency Medical Services System Impact Fee Ordinance, Ordinance No. 91-71, as amended; and Section 3.05 of the Educational Facilities Sys'_em Impact Fee Ordh,ance, Ordinance No. 92-33, as amended; an applcant may obtain a baiver of impact fees by qualifying for a waive'; and WHEREAS, I.nmokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. has qualified for an impact fee waiver based upon the following representations made by Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc.: A. The Dwelling unit st all be sold to a :irst-time home buyer. B. The Dwelling Unit sl III be sold to a hmsehold with a vnry low income level as that term is defined in the Appenc1ices to the respective Impact Fee Ordinances and the m',nthly payment to purchase the unit must be within the affordable hOUSJ ng guidelines established in the Appendices to the re~pective Impact Fee 0rdinances. The Board of County commissioners hereby authorizes the County Manager to issue an Authorization for waiver of impact fees to Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. for one (1) house which shall be constructed on Lot 3, Highlands Habitat SUbdivision, Coun':y, Florida. 2. Upon receipt by the Housing and Urban Development Immokalee, Collier D!re,:tor of an agreement for waiver of impact fees ;,. signed by Immokalee ~{abitat for Humanit y, Inc., and/or the ,JUrchaser, or ot: .er documentation a1ceptable to the Coun'ty Attorney, tre Board of Count',' Commissioners hereby authorizes th::! payment by Collie r County of the following impact fees from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, Fund (191), in the following amO\,'1ts for the one (1) house to be bl i.1t on Lot 3, Hi.,hlands Habitat SUbdivision, Immokc lee by Immokalec Habitat for Humanity, Inc.: A. ~ibrary Impact ~ee 180.52 $ B.
