COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF REGIONAL WATER SYSTEM
IMPACT FEES, REGIONAL SEWER SYSTEM IMPACT
FEES, LIBRARY SYSTEM IMPACT FEES, PARKS AND
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IMPACT FEES, ROAD
IHPACT FEES, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES SYSTEM
IMPACT FEES AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES SYSTEM
IMPACT FEES FOR ONE HOUSE TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY

WHERE, ,S, Collier County has recognized and attempted to
address th.; lack of adequate and affordable h(;using for moderate,
low, and very-low income households in the County and the need
for creati'Je and innovatb 3 proqrams to assi;t in the provision
of such h( using by includ.ng several provis: ons in the Collier
County Grc.:wth Management I'lan, including: ob iective 1. 4, policy
1.4.1; obj~ctive loS, pol:,:y 1.5.2, policy 15.3, policy 1.5.4,
policy 1.5.5, policy 1.5.6; objective 1.6, policy 1.6.3;
objective 2.1, policy 2.1.1, policy 2.1.2, I~licy 2.1.3, policy
2.1. 5, and policy 2.1. 6 of the Housing Elemen'.; and
WHEREAS, Co 11 i er Coun' y has rece i ved fun<.\ 1ng pursuant to the
State Housing' Initiative
Partn~rship Pr~Jram set forth in
Section 42C. 907 et. seq., Florida Statutes and Chapter 91-37,
Florida Administrative Code; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Collier Cl'mty Ordinance No.
93-19, the County is authorized to use func. ing from the State
Housing Ini tiatives Partn rShip (SHIP) prog am for waivers of
Collier County impact fees and
WHEREAS, Immoka lee Ha ,Ii tat for Humanity, Inc. is seeking a
waiver of impact fees; and
WHEREA", Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, [nc. will construct
one (1) thrle-bedroom unit (the "Dwelling Unit") on Lot 16, Block
7, Naples Manor Extension, Naples, Florida w~ich is proposed to
sell for Fo::-ty Six Thousard Five Hundred Do'; lars ($46,500.00);
and

WHEREAS, the Dwelling Unit will be owned by a very low
income household, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Charles C. Smith, Executive Vice President of
Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc., submitted to the County
Manager's Office an Affordable Housing Application dated May 26,
1995 for a waiver of impact fees for the construction of a house
on Lot 16, Block 7, Naples Manor Extension, Naples, Florida, a
copy of said application is on file in tho Housing and Urban
Improvement Department; and

WHEREAS, Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. has qualified
for an impact fee waiver based upon the follo:ing representations
made by Immokalee Habitat ~or Humanity, Inc.:
A.

very low income level as that terll is defined in the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board of County Commissioners hp-reby authorizes the
-:ounty Manager to issue an Authorii~ation for waiver of
impact fees to Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. for
~ne (1) house which shall be constructed on Lot 16,
Block 7, Naples Manor Extension, Naples, Collier

Immokalee Habitat for Humanity, Inc. and the Purchaser,
