RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 406
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PROVlt IHG FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIEN I FOR TdE COST OF
THE 1 BATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, IN ACC':>RDANCE
WITH ORDINANCE 91-47.
WHEREAS, as provided in Ordinance 91-47, the direct costs of
abatement of certain nuisances, including prescribed administrative
cost incurred by the County, shall be assessed against such property;
and
WHEREAS, the cost thereof tc the C~ty as to elch parcel shall be
calculated and r~ported to the BClrd of County CommiJsioners, together
with a descripti~, of said parcel: and
WHEREAS, such assessment sha L1 be a legal,. vali.! and binding
obligation upon the property agaJ 1st which made unti . paid; and
WHEREAS, the:! assessment shall become due and/payab1e thirty (30)
days after the mailing of Notice of Assessment after which interest
shall accrue at a rate of twelve percent (12.0%) per annum on any
unpaid portion thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ":OUNTY

The Clerk of the Board shall mail a notice. of alsessment of lien
to the owner or owners of the abe "e described property, and if such
owner fails to pay such assessment within thirtt (30) days hereof, a
certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed in the Office of the
Clerk of Courts, i, and for Collier County, Plorida, to constitute a
lien against such )roPerty according to law, unless luch direction is
stayed by this Boa ~d upon appeal ~f the assessment of the owner.
