A RESOLUTION BY THE COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO ENTER INTO
AN URBAN COMMUNITY FORESTRY GRANT MEMORANDUM
OF AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA,
DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER
SERVICES, DIVISION OF FORESTRY.

WHEREAS, trees are an important part of our community; and
WHEREAS, Collier County wants to beautify the local
unincorporatel. community of Marco Island, Florida; and
WHEREAS, Collier County wishes to enter into an Urban and
Community FOJ9stry Grant' Me~orandum of Agreement between the
County of Collier, Florida and the Florid, Department of
Agriculture a .d Consumer Serv'ces;

SECTION 1.
The Board supports the acquisition of watering
equipment to maintain, expand and improve the ux )an and community
forestry efforts being imple1'llented on Marco Island by the Marco
Island Beautification program .
SECTION 2. The Board hereby authorizes the COU.lty Administrator
to enter into ~n Urban and Co~unity Forestry Grant Memorandum of
Agreement between the County of COllier, Florida and the Florida
