A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 95-109
THAT ESTABLISHED THE CITIZENS ADVISORY
COMMITTEE TO THE COLLIER COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION BY AMENDING SECTION FOUR FOR THE
REQUIREMENTS FOR A QUORUM FROM 13 MEMBERS TO
17 MEMBERS; AMENDING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR
VOTI:1G TO A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE MEMBERSHIP
PRES~ AND VOTING; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

WHEREAS, ~he Board of County Commissioners on May 6, 1995
directed that t~esolution No. 95-109 be amended to chanqe t:he
membership of a quorum from 13 members to 17 members and that the
votinq requirenlents be amended to provide for a m;tjority vote of
the membership present and voti.nq.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES JLVED BY THE BOARD-IF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNT:, FLORIDA, that:
Section One. Amendments to Section Four of Resolution No. 95-109.
Section Four of Resolution No. 95-109 is her !by amended to
read as follows:
SECTION FOUR: Officers; i"uorum; Compensatio'.
The officers of the :'itizens Advisory Committee shall be
elected by the membership of the Citizens Advisory Committee
and shall include a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary.
The presence of thirteeA (13) seventeen (17) or more members
shall constitute a quorum. The Citizens Advtsory Committee
shall, by majority vote E the eAt ire mcmber,:ft.ip of the
membership Dresent and voJ.ng, adopt rules o' procedure for
the transaction of busine s and shall keep a record of
meetinqs, findinqs and determinations. The l1'lembers of the
Citizens Alvisory Committee shall serve withc-ut compensation,
but may be reimbursed for such travel, milea~e and/or per
diem expenues as may receive prior authorization by the Board
of County Commissioners.
Section Two. Etfective Date.
This Resolution shall become effective upon cdoption by the
Board of County Commissioners.
