RESOLUTION NO. 2009-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT ZETTY YETNY
RIVERA TO THE COLLIER COUNTY HISPANIC AFFAIRS
ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-37, which established the Hispanic Affairs
Advisory Board, provides that the Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-78 amended Ordinance No. 91-37 by
providing that the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Zetty Yetny Rivera is hereby
appointed to the Collier County Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, said term to expire on June 25, 2010.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote on this the 12th day of May,
2009.
