OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COHMISSIONERS
LET IT BE REHEHBERED that the Board of County Commissioners in and
for the County of Collier, and also acting as the Board of Zoning
Appeals and as the governing board(s) of such special districts as have
been created according to law and having conducted business herein, met
on this date at 5:05 p.m. in EMERGENCY SESSION in Building "F" of the
Government Complex, East Naples, Florida, with the following members
present:

ALSO PRESENT:
William Hargett, Assistant County Manager
David Wiegel, Assistant County Attorney
Ken Pineau, Emergency Management Director
Leo Ochs, Administrative Services Administrator
Commissioner Matthews called the meeting to order indicating that
the purpose of the Emergency Meeting is to enact a resolution
proclaiming a State of Local Emergency and the existence of a State of
Emergency, declaring voluntary evacuation and designating certain
shelters be opened voluntarily.
Commissioner Norris stated that he read the resolution and the
only issue is determining which shelter will be opened.
Commissioner Hancock noted that the Shelter at Vo-Tech at 3702
Estey Avenue has been opened.
Commissioner Hancock moved, seconded by Commissioner Norris and
carried 4/0, (Commissioner Constantine absent) that Resolution 95-477
proclaiming a State of Local Emergency be adopted.
There being no further business for the good of the County, the
meeting was adjourned by Order of the Chair - Time: 5:12 P.M.
